Since High School:
Kathleen received a BFA from Northern Illinois
University (1972); married Bob Beening; had
children Mark (1977). Denise (1979) and Robyn
(1982); and was Environment & Art coordinator
for St. Hubert’s Church in Hoffman Estates in the
1980's. Kathleen has taught Art for grades K-8
in four different elementary schools since 1989.
In 2001 her husband passed away and she
began privately teaching watercolors in her
home and at the School of Intuitive Arts and
Sciences. She then began painting "Intuitively"
and selling many of her paintings. Her work can
be found in private collections throughout the
world as well as local galleries. Four of her
paintings have appeared on magazine covers in
