Since High School:
I received a BA from Carthage College (1971) and
married Mary Kramer (PHS 69), had a daughter, Kaarin
Christine (1976); and divorced Mary in 1984. I also
obtained an MBA from Northern Illinois University (1976),
a JD from DePaul University College of Law (1982); and
an MS in Tourism from Michigan State (1999). I married
Judy in 1984. Our daughter Kaarin is now a physician in
Canberra, AU and we have been able to visit her in
Australia several times. The last trip also took us to New
Zealand. Judy and I are still working while living in the
Lansing, MI area, but we are looking forward to retirement
on the gulf coast of either Florida or Mississippi at some
point in the future. I still manage to run several miles
every day at lunch, although more slowly than in the past
– we also still enjoy trips to southern Utah and other
western destinations for hiking and last year I managed to
drag out my road bike for several fast evening rides a
week with friends from work.
