Since High School:
After graduating from William and Mary, I joined the Peace
Corps and spent 2 years in the Ivory Coast, West Africa. I
moved to northern California in '76, and joined Intel
Corporation in 1978. I lived in Hong Kong from '85-'86
setting up Intel's sales operation in Asia, and I left Intel in '87
to run North American Sales for NEC Corporation for 3
years, then ran Sales and Marketing for two electronics firms
for 3 years each (fortunately both went public). I returned to
Intel in '95 where I ran worldwide Distribution sales and
marketing, and retired at the end of 2004.
I married Beth in '96 and my we moved to the Charlottesville,
Virginia area in 2003, where we're enjoying retirement on
our 56 acre "farm" along the James River. We're active in
our church and small town (550 people), and I hope to never
see the inside of another airplane.
Even at 57 there's a lot more I don't know than what I do
know; but I do know this:
Those years at PTHS are wonderful
memories. We were all blessed to grow up
when we did. How truly lucky we were...
