Since High School:
After high school, I attended Augustana in Rock Island
for 2 years and then transferred to Indiana University my
junior year where Keith was attending.
We married May 30, 1970. Keith was in the Air Force
reserves. After basic training he got a job with Ford
Motor in Livonia, Michigan and I finished my degree at U
of M (Speech Pathology/Audiology & Education).. Keith
got his MBA there. Keith interviewed with Eli Lilly and
moved to Indianapolis in 1974. After company moves to
New York (1981-84) and Seattle (1984-1986), we moved
back to Indianapolis.
Keith stayed with Lilly until they "spun off" Guidant and
he became their CFO. We moved from Indianapolis to
Zionsville, just NW of Indy, in 2001. After 15 years
serving as the Music Director at our Lutheran Church, I
retired in May, 2009. Keith retired from Guidant Corp.
(medical device company - defibrillators, pacemakers,
stents etc.) in 2006, and currently serves on corporate
boards and boards of non-profit organizations.
Son Jason (1975) married Missy (Melissa) in 1999.
They have three sons, Will (2003), Trent (2005) and
Blake (2009). Jason works in finance.
Son Ted (1977) is a dentist and is in a partnership on
the NE side of Indpls. He married his wife, Sara, in 2005,
had a daughter Tatum in 2007 and twins Reese and
Tyson in 2010.
Bonnie and Keith stay busy with their condo on
Longboat Key, FL, their lake house in Syracuse, IN, and
being grandparents to their six grandchildren.
