Since High School:

Louie moved to Colorado shortly after high school, worked as
a carpenter, then as construction superintendent building
tract homes, and owned a business building/selling spec
homes.  In 1986, he moved back to Illinois and started Ribar
Bros., a residential remodeling and general contracting firm.  
2006 marked 20 years of improvements and additions to
homes in Inverness, Barrington, Barrington Hills, and the
North Shore.  Lou will continue to run his business, while
re-arranging his priorities in the summer for salmon fishing on
Lake Michigan in Door County, Wisconsin.  He is divorced,
and has a son, Michael (McHenry grad), and two daughters,
Kaili and Shannon (Grant/Fox Lake grads).  Michael was a
star wide receiver at McHenry and has two daughters, Elle
and Ava.  Kaili finished 6th in her graduating class and
graduated from DePaul.  Shannon holds three MVP's in
basketball and volleyball in her junior and senior years at
Louie Ribar
