Since High School:

Darlene graduated from St. Luke's Methodist School of Nursing
in 1972 (diploma of nursing-RN) and Coe College in 1972 (BA in
Biology). She worked at Northwest Community Hospital for four
years and was the Head Nurse in ICU. Darlene moved to
Atlanta, GA in 1976, met and married John Fulton (Campbell
High 1961 & University of Georgia 1969) and had three children,
John, Jr., 1977 (divorced with one daughter, Sarah 1998),
Jennifer 1979 (University of Georgia, 2001, single, living in
Newport Beach, CA), and James 1980 (married Christy in 2003).
The Fultons moved to Oklahoma from 1978-1982, where John
was general manager for EMSA in Tulsa and owner of his own
ambulance service in rural Oklahoma. Darlene worked critical
care in Broken Arrow, OK. In 1982 they moved back to the
Atlanta area and John returned to Lockheed as a buyer and
system analyst until retiring in 2003. Darlene continued to work
critical care in local hospitals. In 1996 Darlene graduated from
The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta as a Legal
Nurse Consultant and continues to work as a consultant for a
large law firm in Atlanta. Darlene retired from clinical nursing
after 40 years of service.   John and Darlene just recently
graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College as National
Registered EMT-Intermediates. Darlene and her husband have
been volunteer lighthouse keepers on Thacher Island,
Rockport, MA every summer since 2003. They are also
members of the Georgia State Defense Force, a volunteer,
uniformed military adjunct to the Georgia National Guard. When
free time is available they love traveling in their RV.
