Since High School:
After Graduation I attended the University of
Alabama at Tuscaloosa in elementary education. I
was briefly married in 1972 and moved to Boone,
North Carolina. I met and in 1977 married Grayson
Brown, a defense attorney for an Insurance firm.
We have been living in Baton Rouge Louisiana for
nearly 30 years. When my Daughters were young, I
taught Pre-School, and was a Girl Scout leader.
My greatest achievement in life would have to be
raising two incredible and beautiful daughters:
Lindsey 27, a School Psychologist, married to
Martin Salinas, a Captain in the Air force. They
have one son, Luke 11 months, and live in New
Braunfels, Texas. Our Daughter Meghan is 24 and
is a Dietitian living in Austin Texas.
We spend our free time traveling to Texas, or to
tennis tournaments as Grayson is trying to maintain
his #1 ranking in his age group in Louisiana. (The
competition is dying out!)
I was happy to be able to provide Barb Arras,
another PHS graduate, with a room after hurricane
Katrina left New Orleans in such a mess. We had
fun reminiscing about our High School years!
