Since High School:

After graduation from Palatine High School, I
attended Colorado State University where I
majored in Sociology/Social Work.  I
graduated with a BS in 1971.  While at CSU, I
met my future husband, Charlie.  We were
married in May of 1973.  We lived in the
Denver area for ten years where I worked for
the Jefferson County School System and my
husband worked for the US Forest Service.  In
1981 we moved to Portland, Oregon where
we lived for four and one half years.  In 1985
we moved to Monroe County, Indiana where
we have lived for the last twenty two years.

We have two sons.  Chas, the oldest, is
twenty-seven.  He attended Purdue University
where he earned a BS in Turf Science.  After
working two years as an Apprentice
Superintendant at Winged Foot Golf Club in
Mamaroneck, New York, he became the
Assistant Superintendant of Westmoreland
Country Club in Wilmette, Illinois, where he
has worked for the last two years.  He lives in
Chicago.

Our younger son, Grant, is finishing his first
year of study in the School of Veterinary
Medicine at Purdue University.  He plans on
becoming an equine veterinarian.  He has
worked for equine veterinarians in Atlanta,
Georgia, and at Churchill Downs in Louisville,
Kentucky.

I have worked for Richland Bean Blossom
School Corporation in Ellettsville, Indiana for
the last fifteen years.  My husband is retired.
